There is great dearth of educational instituions in our district to adequately cater to the needs of the aspiring students to pursue higher education. And as a consequence of this pitiable plight, the student community is compelled to face many harships compelling them to go to far-flung cities and towns to satisfy their instinct and longings. Therefore taking this dire need in to consideration, Gnanasaraswathi Educational Society has come forward to sardine a degree college with advanced disciplines. Undoubtedly a new dynamic era will be dawn on our entire district pervading its fragrance and flavour. University authorities must also be complimented for having provided a great impetus to our relentless efforts by granting the required permission for the establishment of a degree college with updated courses. The state council of higher education has also displayed a great interest and readily extended uts whole hearted support towards the introduction of new restructured combination at college.
